In 2013, Danny fell victim to a compulsion each and every performer gets at some point or another: an undying need to share his friends stupid talents with humanity. The result, was LARK! A Carefree or Spirited Stand-Up Comedy Show. Each month, LARK! features 90 minutes of some of  Portland’s raddest* up-and-coming comics.

In addition, LARK! also features vignettes of past performers in the form of stop motion-esque animations, drawn by web cartoonist and fellow comic, Shane Hosea. Shane performs regularly around the Portland, and was a featured animator at the the 2013 Bridgetown Comedy Festivals presentation of LA’s premiere comedy/animation show, “Picture This”.

Betwixt the all the spectacular comedy showcases Portland, OR has to offer, LARK sets itself apart as a pleasant marriage of stand-up comedy, live recording, multimedia performance, and stop motion animation; all while featuring the brightest performers the city has to offer.
